Sigma Health Consulting is seeking talented, motivated individuals to become a part of our growing team of dedicated professionals. Additionally, Sigma Health Consulting professionals focus on growing our business by strengthening existing customer relationships as well as developing new business opportunities. The following position descriptions detail the roles, responsibilities and skills required for each position. In addition to hiring full-time employees, Sigma also seeks to engage with experienced independent consultants for subcontractor-based work. Current Openings
1. Staff Consultant
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting client engagements within specified guidelines.
  • Performing a variety of support-level tasks that require practical knowledge in business management, information technology and/or healthcare.
  • Understanding the overall purpose of the engagement and task assignment.
  • Supporting the development of solutions to address an organization’s challenges.
  • Supporting the creation of client deliverables.
  • Working closely with Senior Consultants and Managers.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business concentration, health administration field, information technology concentration, or engineering concentration.
  • Some work experience is preferable, especially in a Consulting or Governmental organization, although candidates directly out of college will be considered.
  • Possessing knowledge, some experience, and capabilities in the development of solutions, recommendations or outcomes is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills required.
  • Ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation clearance.

 

2. Senior Consultant
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for:

  • Helping to plan engagements, delegating work where appropriate, and creating and reviewing direct client deliverables.
  • Working with Staff Consultants to mentor, supervise and guide their creation of work products.
  • Development of solutions to address an organization’s challenges.
  • Dealing directly with clients, analysing client issues, and developing solutions.
  • Assisting management to identify business development opportunities and write proposals.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business concentration, information technology concentration, or an engineering concentration. Other degrees will be considered, based on past work experience and current company needs.
  • Three-to-five years of experience in Management Consulting and/or relevant corporate experience. A master’s degree can be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills required.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable, as well as master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) or Public Health (MPH).
  • Ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation clearance.

 

3. Manager
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for:

  • Dealing directly with clients, analyzing client issues, and developing solutions.
  • Planning engagements, delegating work where appropriate, and creating and reviewing direct client deliverables.
  • Working with the Sigma Health Consulting team to develop internal strategy and improve business processes.
  • Assisting with strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings and working on proposals.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will have:

  • Five-to-ten years of Management Consulting and/or relevant corporate experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills required.
  • Experience in task management; organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned tasks.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable, as well are Masters degrees in Business Administration (MBA) or Public Health (MPH).
